Hey Nomad Fam!

Great news for you people, apart from Bacon goodies, now you also get this weekly newsletter from the founders. Okay some people might say we are boring people but don't you listen to them. You have tasted our bacon thecha and you know it!
Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing a lot with you over this space. From recipes, movie recommendations, our playlists, some fun reads, really random anecdotes and yes of course special discounts just for y'all. So yeah don't unsubscribe. Yes we are bribing you with Bacon goodies at discounted prices.

So let's start off with some recommendations for the week.

One of our favourite recipes to whip up with Bacon thecha is Paalak Pakoda. It's a quick and easy upgrade from your regular spinach fritters.

All you will need is,

  • Besan/Gram Flour
  • Spinach Leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Bacon thecha of your choice. We like using the green one in this recipe.

Palak pakoda with Bacon Thecha

Make a quick batter using besan, cold water, a little salt and a big spoon of bacon thecha. Mix it all up, your batter shouldn't be too runny. Take washed and dried spinach leaves. We like them big leaves. Dip the leaves in the batter one at a time and deep fry in hot oil, like you would deep fry anything. Take out once they are crispy and golden. And you're good to go. Perfect for your tea time snacks or just something to munch on while enjoying a movie on the weekend. This reminds us, movie recommendations for the week coming below.

One of my favorite genres recently is Noir. And to go down that rabbit hole and to discover all the classics is one of the most fun things. And from all those classics, one i really loved was

The Maltese Falcon. It's thrilling . . it's chilling . . it's the most baffling mystery story in years!

Yeah, that's the real tagline of the movie and it stands true to it 100%. From the use of those camera angles to perilous settings of the scene, it is really one of the best thrilling noirs of all the time. It's got spies and a magnificent array of villains, all trying to get hold of the, well, the Maltese Falcon.

Well, that's all for this week. And if you've managed to come this far down, here's a 15% discount code just for our Nomad Fam! Use NOMAD15 and get those goodies. And if you are an F1 fanatic, don't miss the Miami GP this weekend. Maybe some Bacon thecha paalak pakodas to give with it. Ciao!
